Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a fast and effective non-invasive method of eliminating or reducing many painful conditions of the musculoskeletal system. It uses an electro-magnetic generator to physically transmit high-energy acoustic waves and to spread these focused or radially into the body. This stimulates and accelerates the healing process.

The original application of focused shockwaves with extremely short duration and very high peak pressures - use of the first lithotriptor for shattering kidney stones (focused shockwave), that can be reach and destroy the solid bodies inside the human body without damaging overlying tissue (1980) - has now developed into an alternative, safe and low-cost method of treatment for orthopedic problems, Men's health incl. erectile dysfunction and for the treatment of Scars and Cellulite with virtually identical efficiency.

Spinal Mobilisation/Manipulation

Spinal Mobilisation

Gentle to firm pressure is applied to the spinal joints based on the symptoms and the examination results and the treatment plan. The pressure can be sustained or oscillaating. The aim is to reduce muscle spasm around the joints and to increase the natural glide of the joints.

Spinal Manipulation

In some cases spinal manipulation is indicated to restore the natural function of the spinal joints. A high velocity small amplitude thrust will be applied at the end of the range of a particular joint in order to increase the range of the joint and to enable to body to regain its function. Mobilisation and manipulation techniques can also be applied to peripheral joints such as shoulders, knees & ankles.

Realtime Ultrasound

Using a diagnostic ultrasound, we can watch your different layers of muscles contract, relax and most importantly look at their muscle contraction timing, size and even how much fatty tissue is contained within your withered old muscles. Yes, it's just like seeing an unborn baby. Ultrasound physiotherapy can be used for most common conditions.

Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy is often used to treat symptoms such as joint, muscle and nerve pain. It can be utilised in the treatment of repetitive strain injuries as well as post operatively. Stiff joints as well as tight muscles often need to be mobilised and released to enable the body to regain its full function and capacity. Manual therapy can be applied in the form of ART, Massage, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilisation/manipulation.

Acupuncture / Dry Needeling

Acupuncture has a history of over 3000 years in traditional Chinese medicine and has become generally accepted in medical circles in the West in the last 50 years. Western Medical and other Health Care Practitioners have embraced either the traditional oriental and/or the medical approach to acupuncture. Both approaches have been shown to be effective. Acupuncture has been recognised for many years as a complementary practice in Physiotherapy. The practice of acupuncture supports physiotherapy helping to relieve pain. It aids return of function by reducing muscle tension and restoring range of movement. Acupuncture is beneficial for both chronic and acute conditions and can help treating: Low Back Pain, Neck and Shoulder Pain, Arthritis, Bursitis, Fibromyalgia, Muscle strains, Trigger points, joint pain and referred pain.

Matrix Rhythm Therapy

Matrix Rhythm Therapy is a method developed by scientists from clinical-based scientific studies related to cell biology, conducted at Erlangen University in Germany. This new therapy method, used successfully for physiotherapy and physical treatment, is based on the characteristics of cells examined under special microscopes called “vital microscopes”, which show the vital conditions of cells.
